It's amazing to read about how some people have been able to cure themselves of HIV. It's no surprise that it all boils down to our genes and we can't even imagine the scientific revolution that will take place when biochemistry final reveals how it all works. The human body is still such an ill understood organism. A few quick facts: HIV is believed to have originated in primates in West-Central Africa. The earliest, well-documented case of HIV in a human dates back to 1959.
